A lot of people nowadays are looking for means to gain wealth and prosperity, and to be able to lead a meaningful life.
However, can a series of 10 audio CDs really change your life and give you the untold secret to earning $10,000 in 24 hours or $100,000 in 90 days?
Is Kevin Trudeau’s Your Wish is Your Command a scam or can it really be the key to gaining limitless wealth that anyone would die to have?
Here are some of the pros and cons of the said program. This will help you decide later on whether buying the product is a sound investment or not.
Your Wish is Your Command Scam – The Benefits
Some people believe in the power of the law of attraction, which merely states that a person has the power to attract what is going to happen to him. Good things, bad things, success, failure, love, health, and wealth, all of these things can be attracted and manifested according to some teachings. According to Kevin Trudeau, most of the books and teachings that are already published is just showing the tip of the iceberg when it comes to mastering the law of attraction.
Your Wish is Your Command scam or not, will give new insights on how to maximize the powers of the law of attraction. The set features a recording of lectures given by Kevin Trudeau for the price of $10,000 per attendee. So, it is quite a steal to grab a copy of a $10,000-worth lecture for less than $75 on Amazon. In addition, the author claims that the ideas presented in the audio books are secrets obtained because of the fact that he is a member of some secret societies that are involved with using the law of attraction to gain massive wealth. The main benefit of buying this program is being able to access powerful secrets in achieving wealth. Which just sounds a little off-base, if you ask me!
Your Wish is Your Command Scam – The Setbacks
For several years, the program has been available but there is no definite proof as to whether the program works or not. There are no material manifestations or tangible tools presented in order to prove that earning $10,000 in 24 hours is feasible. When buying this type of instructional audio books, one should be aware of the fact that they are mere tools to help one in achieving his dreams or desires. It is not like buying a magical item, such as a ring or a lamp with a genie that will be able to grant all your wishes in an instant. While the law of attraction can hasten the process of achieving wealth, this will be an impossible task if one will not take action and work hard to meet and exceed goals.
It is difficult to include that Your Wish is Your Command is a scam. One may need o buy the product in order to find out what the secrets are. These secrets may be the key to tap one’s potential in achieving wealth and success. However, these secrets will only work on a case-to-case basis. Gaining access to an idea is not enough, taking action and making that idea work by taking action and working hard is still the ultimate key to being wealthy and successful.
Now, in all fairness, let me say that I did attempt to purchase this program direct from their web site when it first launched on TV because I do believe we can manifest our own destiny. Not in the sense you can “wish” something into being but, rather, if you take the time to truly determine what it is you want and take actions towards making it happen… AND work past all the hurts, habits and hang ups that have been holding you back… AND pick the right vehicle for getting the job done – you CAN make incredible things happen
I never did receive the product I ordered even though I called numerous times. Later I had to reverse the charges on my credit card.
What I did receive, however, was a bazillion attempts to upsell me into a $3,000 private prosperity program. Relentless phone calls from two independent reps that must have both received my name as a hot lead. So if you are curious, pick up a copy from Amazon for less than $75 on Amazon, new or used, and save a few dollars and a lot of headaches. Kevin is brilliant marketer, but too far removed from the business to run a fair and ethical business (in my opinion).

Great post Rob, it’s funny that I ran across this because I’ve been pondering whether or not to get this program. As someone who not only believes in the Law of Attraction, but who actually lives it, I will attest to what you said about people having to take action. Bottom line; In order to have, one must do. While “Self-Help” and “Personal Development” courses are great, they are useless without implementation.
Terry, you are spot on. I think we can manifest things in our lives but we first must put in the time and effort necessary. Seems life rewards a disciplined effort. I’ll probably pick this up from Amazon myself.
Hello Rob, My name is Ed. Let me know if you have already purchased the Your Wish Is Your Command CD’s. I have a few sets and if you would like I would be willing to mail you a set if you would like to give it a listen. I don’t care to charge anything but I think it is an extremely great training series and would like to hear what you have to say about it. If you would like to know more after you listen to it I would be glad to answer your questions, if not you can just send the CD set back to me and I will not bother you… Take care and hope to hear from you.
I am a very big fan of the law of attraction and when I heard about this CD series I was quite sure that it just contained information that was similar to “The Secret” and the law of attraction – information which is freely available on the Internet. I did some searching about the product and found that there are a lot of complaints about it. People being charged on their credit cards amounts that they were not aware of. So I can say that this is one product that I will not be ordering.
Thanks, Martina. Appreciate the feedback. I’ve heard the same. Many people are being charged a small monthly fee for a newsletter they never knew they were getting into – and it seems challenging to get the payments stopped. It’s unfortunate. I like most of Kevin’s materials.
It’s amazing how sincere Trudeau can appear on the infomercials. I’ve never bought anything from the infomercials, although the offers always sound so enticing (buy 1 book for $29 and get 2 books free). If I had not already watched The Secret, I probably would have been tempted to buy Your Wish is Your Command. However, since I was already familiar with The Secret, I kept thinking to myself, “how is it possible that Trudeau can take that and expand it to 10 CD’s?” so I never bought into it. A friend of mine recently sent me an article about Trudeau. I don’t know who the author is, but the content certainly sounds very believable, e.g., he did federal time for credit card fraud and has been fined at least $37 million by the FTC and banned from selling products on TV (except the books and CD’s, I guess). By the way, regarding the “buy 1 book for $29 and get 2 books free” offer I mentioned above — the article says that each book has a $25 shipping fee, so the $29 turns into $104, plus a $71/month newsletter fee, sales of additional “free” books by sales people at the 800 number, etc. I can send you this article if you want it.
Thanks for sharing, Nancy – but, yeah, I’ve heard about a few “issues” Kevin has had in the past. Still, most I think happened because of the “claims” made by his “cures” products. Big Pharma really doesn’t want us knowing things like an easy way to lower cholesterol is take garlic, niacin and eat Cheerios for breakfast…
Just ordered it for ‘free’ and a $19.99 shipping fee.
They said no other charges would ever be made to my card and they wouldn’t try to sell me anything else.
Got an email it was shipped today, will see in two weeks if Ill be sorry I didnt do more homework!!!!
I got a hold of this course, I listened to it and he always seems to dance around the how too part….. He either goes into a story or rant about teach-ability but it is always a dance than getting to the point of applying it to your life.
I live by the Laws of attractions and I have gotten more from the first cd in another person course (Jack Candfeild) than the whole set in Kevin’s course.
Keven do give some great info like he does in all his books but when it comes right down to it, he gives you the old “You can learn all the “True” secrets from a mentor.” that will only cost you 150 a month but if you realy want the most secretive stuff then it’s not 150 a month, it will be an extra 300 a month.
The funny part is: one of his mentors goes to my church and after talking to him, I found out I know way more about the laws of attraction than he does!!!! And I’m suppose to pay this guy 450 a month to only have him asking me questions on how to apply the Law of attraction…… What a joke!!!!
I bought his course from a friend who bough it, then had a problem with them over charging her 500 dollars and her not getting her money back. She was so upset that she sold it to me for 10 dollars.
Yeah, I like most of Kevin’s materials. He a heck of a good marketer. But because his business is so large, with lots of staff and outsourcing… lots of challenges with refunds, etc.
I personally found this series to be a amazing. They changed my life. I was under a debt of $20,000 and within 6 months i was driving a new car. I was very skeptical, believe me, but after i started applying the techniques included in the CD
I thought it was something that can be used like a ring or box or charm,i dn’t believe in theories. All i even needed was to join a secret society and become a billionarie like my mates.
Yeah Rob,
I do completely believe in the law of attraction and I’m sure that most of the stuff that Kevin Promotes. However, it being the law of attraction I just don’t think that it’s a system or something that you have to buy. It’s the “Law Of Attraction” put it out their and it will come to you. It’s that easy. But what they sell is for the doubters, and there doubts are also what hold them back.
The saying is “LEAP” and the net will appear. Not go to the ledge, look down first, to see if you see the net, then leap. It says; Leap!
And that’s how people make money, on the lookers.
The leapers already have everything that they need. Faith.
Thank you for sharing, Joseph. I love the LEAP analogy. Great stuff.
Do you know why Kevin T is a multimillionaire? Because of you gullible people! You readily believe what he says is true, because you want to believe you get something for nothing. Snap out of it! As long as gullible people like you exist, he will be laughing all the way to the bank!
Actually, James, I have to disagree. Most of Kevin’s products are great products in and about the topic he is discussing. There is a universal principle that what we focus on expands. The idea of attracting things into our lives is very real.
Yea Rob… I am a member of Global Information Network and I’ve listened to Your Wish is your command over 15 times. I live and breath the info he teaches. Kevin actually paid for my membership in GIN during a promotion and I got a free cruise with two years in a row in the Bahamas. GIN has allowed me to connect with several multi-millionaires and the ability to travel and meet like-minded entrepreneurs who are money-motivated and compassionate people fighting the status quo. Kevin is a wonderful human being, he spent the last 10 years planning GIN and he left the illuminati and lost a whole ton of money and almost his life in the process. It’s not fair that people that don’t know more only see him as a “brilliant marketer”. He is helping raise the consciousness of the planet in a huge way.
Anyway it’s kind of a shame when people who have never been to one of kevin’s events talk smack about him, considering everything he has done for me. If it wasn’t for one of his books, I would have never heard of the book Think and Grow Rich, Ask and It is Given, The Magic of Thinking Big, or anything in the personal development arena.
Thanks you, Matthew, for stopping by and sharing. I LOVE Kevin and own practically everything he has ever produced. He’s a brilliant marketer and while many people don’t like him for whatever reason or no reason at all, you have to respect his marketing abilities. Great stuff.
Oh by the way, No one is a bigger promoter or expert in multi-level marketing than kevin trudeau. He is going to do something big to make the public more aware of accurate facts about our industry in the near future and it is going to lead to a flood of people getting involved in our industry who used to think that MLM is a scam or “a pyramid”
Do your homework on KT before you buy any of his materials.
I bought and have since thrown into the garbage the YWIYC program. Why? If you listen to the program carefully he claims it is recorded in the swiss alps with an audience present, each of whom paid $10,000 to attend. Problem is you cant hear a sound at all from his “audience”! He takes audience questions but of course we dont hear a peep. We just hear KT saying “ummm hmmm yeah…uh huh” We hear nothing at all from his “audience” yet he goes on and on at how beautiful the place is, thanks everyone for coming….it’s sickening! If KT thinks it’s ok to mislead his customers and you as a customer are ok with being misled than go ahead buy the course or check the local dump where my copy is now. Research the man and all the “holes” in his claims made over the years in his infomercials and interviews. **By the way, membership in his club is so exclusive that it contains many high ranking society members who very convenientley, will never admit membership! **Stupidest moment on the program? KT says after a “break” in the program “you know it’s funny, someone just came up to me during the break and said “did you just call that guy a king?”…Finally,I am open to the LOA which is why I tried the program. There is in my opinion nothing original nor any “secrets” that are “finally revealed”. He speaks on the Johari window but that is no secret. Much is just him going on rambles. There are NO secrets “They” dont want you to have!!! Work Hard, Perservere and believe in your self until you succeed. That’s it. I dont believe like KT says that there are “secret scrolls” in private collections of the wealthiest people that contain the “Secrets” to success. (of course KT has seen these scrolls himself!) Please objectivley research the man and his programs before you buy.
Thanks for sharing, Jason. I never had the chance to listen to the program and I think you’ve saved me some time.
I must agree with Jason. The weird thing is that you don’t hear anything from the audience, but what you hear is a dog barking in the background, a siren going off, a car honking, etc. Another proof that is not a seminar is when a “person” from the audience, which you cannot hear, of course, is asking a “question”, the time elapsed during which the question is being asked is about 5 seconds at the most, but when KT “repeats” the question, the repeated question seems to be much-much longer. Hmm….
“Dog barking in the background, a siren going off, a car honking, etc…” It`s hard to believe the Swiss alps would be that noisy, I`m guessing that`s why you don`t hear a peep from the audience. LOL…
Thanks for sharing Eugenia, you`ve just saved me some hard earned dollars.
This commercial just flipped onto my TV a few minutes ago, and i’d never bothered watching more than about 30 seconds of it until now.
But i just caught something! – He actually mentions ON the infomercial that his Global Association of whatever will be giving you several harassing calls to join once you order the book threw his own method
Side note for other people looking, I’ve found several BitTorrents for the cd’s, other than a lack of seeders, they do download quite fast. & the bonus is…No secret-society recruitment calls, or wasted money
Hi Rob, If I can save anyone a penny than I am happy to. Apparently, the program on the infomercial now sells for “only the cost of shipping” *Still not worth it folks! I forgot to mention in my post that although we never hear a peep(no coughing, no papers rustling etc) nor are we able to hear any “questions” from the “audience”, If you listen with earphones, you will hear in the backround, at times, what sounds like a hotel phone ringing, a dog barking, a (police?) siren, a door opening or closing and what sounds like him adjusting himself in his chair! He is in a room by himself pretending to be hosting an exclusive seminar! Swiss Alps my…
Having trouble finding places to review this. . . When I started getting letters about a ‘Secret Society’ I had no idea they were from Kevin T. Recently I got a letter from KT himself, wanting me to buy this CD set for $297, revealing all the secrets from this society. Maybe it’s all part of a spaced repetition type of master plan he had to sell this. Later I ordered it just for the $20 shipping. I thought there must be a catch but let’s see . . . With that out of the way —
He claims people pay $10,000 to show up at a luxurious resort in the Alps where the Members (of SS, Illuminati, Freemasons, Brotherhood, etc) arrive in private jets, helicopters, and chauffered Bentleys. He points out how surprised and awed people were by who they’ve met and seen. He describes how he was met with some resistance and some support by other members by breaking away and getting this info out there. Really selling how dangerous it was to share this.
He also claims he recorded the two-day sessions. Even if there was only one microphone on KT, you can’t hear a single murmer from the ‘audience’, no shuffling, and when he’s asked a question, you don’t hear a muffled voice. And the microphone never ‘pops’ or drops out as a live mic would.
I actually haven’t listed to the whole thing yet, but boy is it padded. I could quote everything verbatim so far and you wouldn’t be any better off. If your ‘teachablity index’ is to pay $5,000 your mentor knows you don’t have and fly to LA for a lecture? . . . The process of success is just not that dramatic. Doesn’t it send your brain the wrong message that to do one drastic crazy thing once in a while will get you what you want? Isn’t it being consistent, day after day, with little efforts you won’t even notice, that will compund over time? That’s the philosophy of the slight edge. I’ve tried the first way, maybe the latter will work better. And let’s see what the remaining CD’s reveal, if anything.
As I can see you publish in this web site only the bad comments about Kevin Trudeau and ” Your Wish is Your Command”. It is sad how the multibillionaires that get affected with Kevin’s advices in Health and Succes, spend millions of dollars in debaunking such a good information and keeping the public from getting it. But no matter what you say and do, to hide good information, peolpe is getting it, and more and more people is searching for Alternative Medicine and better ways of living thanks to the good advices from a great Health and Success Advocate as Kevin Trudeau. Because of sites like yours people get confused and critizice without knowing the real truth, and unfortunately those are the ones that most of the time are sick, poor, unhappy and unsuccessful. I have ordered many books and information from Kevin and never missed anything. If people can buy his books from Amazon for a less price, try it , Kevin will be happy for you. Your Wish is Your Command is the best information you can get if you are willing to accept changes in your life and be happy. If you are bitter, negative and hatefull nothing and noone can help you. Just keep looking for web sites that allow you to critize and be happy that way…Good Luck.
I’ll give you all a review that you can trust. I’ve owned YWIYC for a year and some change. I didn’t spend my hard-earned money on it though.
The information itself on the CD is great, but the bogus story behind it…that’s another story. From a marketing and selling standpoint, you see why he made up a story about being in the Swiss Alps, having secret society members present, members paying $10,000 to attend this live seminar, etc. He knows that people like to hear stuff like that (conspiracy theories, secret societies, etc.).
The YWIYC CD-set is really a rip-off of “The Master Key System” by Charles F. Haanel and The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill. There were points where I’d listen to YWIYC and would hear parts where Kevin T. recites parts of The Master Key System verbatim. While this information really is taught in secret orders, it’s doubtful whether or not Kevin Trudeau got this information from membership in a secret society. Mr. Haanel was a member of several societies. He was a member of the Freemasons, Rosicrucian order, American science league, and several other groups. Even the scientific data Trudeau recites in the CD’s comes from Haanel’s work. The Master Key System is way more in-depth than YWIYC though. Kevin T. is only scratching the surface, which I think is done purposely. Reason being….
The CD, in my opinion, is really nothing more than an upsell to join his group The Global Information Network (GIN), which charges a $1,000 initiation fee and monthly dues of $150. As you *progress,* the monthly fee get higher.
Here’s what I find interesting. I’ve known several people over the past couple of years that actually joined the Global Information Network. They’d go on and on about how Kevin T. was giving them the greatest information and so on. They said that he’d recommend the greatest books to them. I asked them if he’d ever told them about Charles F. Haanel’s works, and they all said he didn’t. Which basically told me that he’s not telling them the whole truth. He doesn’t want them to know what he knows. Everything these guys have told me that they learned from being GIN members, are things that could be found in Haanel’s work or in Napoleon Hill’s work.
I’m not a spokesperson for Charles F. Haanel and the Master Key System, just telling you all where the information is derived from. I’d suggest going straight to the original source. YWIYC is good because it actually does present some simple, but profound facts which are vital to success (who do you listen to, teachability index, mastering the basics, etc.). But if you want to get the full scope, check out Charles Haanel’s Master Key System and Napoleon Hill’s Law of Success.
Thank you for your insight on the CDs and for mentioning those two books, Shaun. I am interested in reading those books to see what I can learn from them.
So far, I listened to the the first one and a half CDs but I hated how he beated around the bush, started rambling about random stories, all his secret society stuff, ‘listen to this cd in 14 days or less,’ etc. Really, if the guy is going to rant on about how the techniques in a book don’t work because they are fictional, then he should have the decency to cut the bs Swiss alps story. It completely put me off how obviously fake the story was and made me question why I shouldn’t just follow his advice and stop listening to him since he’s not the type of person I want to learn from.
Enough of my rambling, thank you again for sharing about your knowledge of those two books. I will definitely check them out and hopefully get myself straight to the chase.
Cheers,
E
I am actually rather unsettled by reading this. I have personally listened to these CD’s. I can PERSONALLY say that I feel these CD’s are indeed life changing. Also, I would like to point out that there is A LOT of people that assume they are ordering from the main site when they are undoubtedly ordering from somebody else! I have never had a problem with the company. In addition to peoples comments about Kevin Trudeau being to ‘out of his work’ thats sheer nonsense. He litterally meets with people that use his product every day… IN HIS OWN HOME non the less… As for the beating around the bush, it’s actually not, he speaks in a circular pattern in order to help people retain information. Unless people generally hear things multiple times, within 24 hours its difficult to remeber, and by the end of the week its totally gone from your head. I find it to my muse that there is so many people that make the assumption somethings a total scam just because they don’t like it…
This guy is up on $37,000,000 in fines, and is banned from selling products in MANY MANY states!!! Stop buying his shit, americans.
Right on, Andrew! Reading these comments amazes me. Trudeau is a convicted con-artist who moved form racket to racket. He only started writing books because he was banned from selling any product not protected by First Amendment Right. He is using the First Amendment as a shield to defraud people. Seriously folks, do you think con-man Kevin Trudeau has been anywhere near the flippin’ Illuminati or the highest level secret organizations? Not a dust mote of chance. He is a two bit con who has bought his way into a network of highly dispersed clueless rich people who throw money away on self-help and store-bought networks.
Here is what took him to books…”After being incarcerated for fraud in the early 1990s,[4] Trudeau joined a multi-level marketing firm, Nutrition for Life. The firm met with success until the Attorney General of Illinois charged that it was running a pyramid scheme. Trudeau and Nutrition for Life settled cases brought by the state of Illinois, and seven other U.S. states, for US$185,000.[4][5][6][7][clarification needed]
Next, Trudeau produced and appeared in late-night television infomercial broadcasts throughout North America. They promoted a range of products, including health aids, dietary supplements (such as coral calcium), baldness remedies, addiction treatments, memory-improvement courses, reading-improvement programs, and real estate investment strategies. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission took regulatory action against Trudeau, alleging that his broadcasts contained unsubstantiated claims and misrepresentations.
In 1998, he was fined. In 2004, he settled a contempt-of-court action arising out of the same cases by agreeing to a settlement that included both payment of a $2 million fine and a ban on further use of infomercials to promote any product other than publications protected by U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.[8][9] Trudeau began writing books and promoting them with infomercials.”
Your answers are within, People! Stop looking to buy them.
If you trust what the government does and says, you are really a fool. The fact that the government does not take any action to stop the mainstream medical industry from killing 140,000 people each year via the correct use of prescription drugs should tell you something about how much they might want to stop someone like Kevin Trudeau, who puts his life on the line to inform people about things the elite ruling class do not want us to know about. Think for yourselves, people! This info is not new nor exclusive to Kevin’s material. He just has the balls to tell it the way he has experienced it, and in a way that can help the masses to think for themselves – at least those who have the courage and commitment to listen past the first one and a half lesson of his material!
Rob, I must say that you would probably be better off trying to come up with something to sell instead of trying to ride on the coat tails of Kevin Trudeau’s work. You talk about his program not having any proof and all you offer is weak, uneducated opinions. I actually HAVE purchased and listened to the entire program more than once, and it has enhanced my life tremendously in just a few weeks. I find it sad and unethical that you (or anyone) would waste their time trying to capitalize on a popular program by using it as a keyword in your website and adding the word scam onto it. I doubt you’ll publish this comment, but I hope you’ll get the program, listen to it, and give it a try. It might help you and others stay away from this kind of destructive activity. It feels much better to create something than to rail against someone else’s successful creation.
As a marketer, I do where the market is and… like it or not… over 4,000 real, live, breathing people search for “Kevin Trudeau scam” and “Your Wish is Your Command Scam” just on Google every single month. Why would they do that? Because people are tired of being taken for a ride. So, as I shared in my post, I don’t know if this program is a scam or not because I never received it. I never passed a judgement on it. I own literally everything Kevin has produced and like and recommend all of his materials. In this case… never received it. I’m glad you received it, used it and enhanced your life. My blessings…
Thanks for the offer, Ed… but I’ll pass. After placing my order I received at least six calls from different people promoting the Global Information Network program and, frankly, not interested because I am “unrecruitable” at this point.
Lola – I have to agree with you. First and foremost Kevin is a marketer. But secondly, he is a great researcher and whistle blower – which really pissed people off. Good for Kevin!
