Awesome Offer Rob,

I’m one of those people who likes to actually learn stuff rather then have it done for me, i’d rather know how to implement strategies so I can personally do stuff myself and even teach team members when it comes down to it.

Rob I’m kinda like Brian and SEO Freak Lol, so that’s my goal and you I know there ain’t no one better to learn from.

Abdul

As always your rocking

Adbul – we share kindred spirits. I LOVE to learn, apply, then teach. So you are looking for more SEO tips, tricks and techniques that work to get your content to rank on the major search engines. That is actually my primary #1 method of driving traffic, securing lead and making money. I do have a NEW product we recently released all about that model. See http://freedom.predatoryseo.com which has about 10 hours of step-by-step, watch over my should instruction. What I may start doing on this blog is actually create a SEO category and share things as I find them, test and validate for results because… as we know… things change pretty fast.

Well, Rob, thanks for the invitation to tell you exactly what I need you to do for me, but I suspect I’m the person that no one can help. I have credit card bills I haven’t been able to pay on since the end of June 2011. We haven’t paid our rent since that time either. The only way we are still in our house is because we have landlords who are Christians and are being very gracious even to this very hour.

So, you see, we don.t have money to purchase a program anymore, much less pay for the services of a coach. I can only join programs that are free, and I have just joined one I will try to promote using as much free traffic as possible. It launches this coming Tuesday.

Thanks for your offer.

Thank you for sharing, Andy. Give me a better clue as to what you mean by “converting funnels”.

Do you need a like a company specific lead generation page that would collect contact info, sift and sort the “curious from the serious”… the direct them to your MLM presentation?

Or, perhaps, a “self-funded proposal” type of funnel that not only collect leads but also creates cash flow on the front end and THEN guides them into your MLM?

On thing I can suggest right now is to take a closer look at MLSP as their system comes with DOZENS of free webinars you can offer people and products you can sell to earn a commission on. In fact, we make over six-figures a year just promoting (LEADING WITH) the MLSP system. See http://blog.robfore.com/my-lead-system-pro/

I love marketing, but how can a person know which affiliate marketing business to write articles for. There are so many out there.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 10:15 am

Trevor – yep, there a bazillion “niches” and “keywords” you can go after so how do we pick? Where can we best focus our time?

My model has always been to PICK THE TARGET MARKET FIRST. Then go find the “pain” or points of challenge this target market has. Once you discover these “best chance keyword phrases” – then go find a product, service or opportunity that promises to help them ease the pain or solve the challenge. This should give you a nice list of keywords and products to go after. NOW the key is to work only on those YOU HAVE A CHANCE OF COMPETING AND RANKING for. Why waste your time? And any “best chance” keyword YOU can rank for is a perfect keyword. Make it happen – then go find the next keyword YOU can rank for based on your tool set.

Hey Rob, Awesome stuff and thanks for all you already do for us.

I’d say I would want 30 days worth of knowledge of your specialty in SEO. How to increase domain authority, page rank and the best strategies to use for SEO to beat the Panda and Penguin updates and get content ranking at the top and staying at the top.

Thanks again.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 10:12 am

Hey Chris – I’ve already put all of my SEO knowledge down into a 18 module, 10 hour course. See Predatory SEO.

What I really like but SEO is once you learn the art and science of it – then it almost becomes an automatic process you can use to get MOST of your content to rank pretty high, pretty fast. The downside is Google really doesn’t like that too much so they are constantly changing things. BUT the key there is just to hang out with all the other SEO geeks and we eventually “crack the code” and figure it out again. Having a LOT of content is also critical because each page or post or video “stands alone” and may or may not rank so the more content you have, the better chance you have of ranking at least 50% of it.

It is like increasing your odds of winning the lottery – just buy more tickets.

To increase the odds of ranking online – just add more keyword optimized content and promote to rank.

Chris Kostopoulos May 19, 2012 at 1:27 pm

I appreciate the response Rob. I probably should’ve been more specific, but I’m in MLSP and Empower and recently going through your new products actually. Not up to Predatory SEO yet, but getting there. I do get some stuff ranking, but other stuff does not, so like a few others stated (Dave being one of them below).

It would just be awesome to have someone that really knows what they are doing (Like Yourself), just review the process and help tweak the the few things that are needed to help rank more content and higher. I have no problem putting the time in study and apply what I learn, but sometimes I feel you need that actual human review of what you’re doing to get that “Ah Ha” moment.

Hope that makes more sense. Thanks!

Hi Rob,

I’m interested in learning how to generate and convert leads. I’m on your Empower team and I’ve just been overwhelemed. Can you provide a concise blueprint that will enable me to FOCUS only on the activities that make me money?

Thanks,

Hey Ed – thank you for sharing and reaching out. Right now I “gathering intel” to see where most people are struggling and it seems it is the WHERE DO I FOCUS part of the equation for most. For me it has always been on driving traffic to the offers to build a list. Then follow up. But the traffic comes first. This boils down to either SEO or PAID TRAFFIC. So just thinking alone those lines for now.

The problem I am having is promoting the affiliate link because i do not have any sort of list or even a website to promote my link on. I have also come across your program my leads system pro but i spent my last bit of money on membership on Empower Network.

I would like for you to show me how to make money ASAP with empower network. NOT DO IT FOR ME, i am a firm believer in “legitimate reward requires legitimate effort”

Ian – I LOVE it!

I am a firm believer in “legitimate reward requires legitimate effort”.

When it comes to online marketing the “what” we promote really does not matter because the “how to” is exactly the same. You can use PAID TRAFFIC, Social Media Traffic or even “free” traffic by getting your content to rank on the search engines (which is my preferred model).

Promoting anything online is really a matter of having the OFFER (which you have), then finding numerous ways of driving traffic to the offer. So thank you for sharing. I’ll keep this in mind. For now, go sign up for my free private team training site that I set up for my MLSP team. We talk about promoting MLSP but, again, the “what” does not matter as the “how to” is exactly the same. So start there, or if you really want to get in and make incredible things happen – get your hands on my Posting on Purpose product or Predatory SEO product. Both will help you make it happen.

Rob, I am a huge Robe Fore fan as I think of you as the kind of professor everyone wanted in college…someone who knows his stuff, but more importantly is able to communicate it with humor.
Loved your Predatory SEO course.

The one thing I would like help with is creating multiple streams of income and building a business, not just a downline One thing you teach is you need to get massive people in the funnel in order to get massive results. How to put the pieces in place that will make that happen.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 10:20 am

Tony – thank you so much for picking up Predatory SEO. I appreciate it.

Thank you for sharing the “multiple streams” concept as a need because, frankly, that’s where my thinking goes. I think we would all be BEST SERVED by not focusing the promotion of just one thing… including a primary… but on the creation of multiple offers designed to attract our target market for lead and CASH FLOW (which is what most people desperately need, I think) – and then worry about back-ending people into a primary or a higher-ticket offer.

Hmmmm… I like it. Food for thought, for sure.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 11:12 am

Mike – yeah, that is one of the biggest challenges most people fact. The HOW TO can become overwhelming. The key is to pick ONE model – then focus on that one model until you are producing results and until you can then automate or semi-automate those results. Then move to the next. For you, I would promote MLSP on your Empower Network blog and focus on getting the content to rank. This gives you two ways to generate leads and two ways to cash in…

I begin to see result in my marketing and i’m near to be break even in my expense.

I just finished with POPP and am getting Predatory SEO. I’m in MLSP and would love to pick your brain about the whole concept of Posting for Profit, Posting for Purpose and Posting for Leads. I just changed my them to OptimizePress and it’s being worked on right now. I could use help with the concept of proper backlinking to achieve the ranking I need to show up well for my keywords. I would love to work with you to develop my skills to create “single post profit centers” like you show in POPP.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 11:19 am

Awesome, Joe. Thanks for picking that up. Posting on Purpose is really where it all starts, doesn’t it? I recently did a POPP campaign for an affiliate product launch – the goal was not to generate leads but simply to create a stand alone profit center. It took three hours of “work” and I outsourced the SEO using fiverr.com. Result? In two weeks – about $1,000 in commissions. (Search for “azcrusher bonus” and you’ll spot the POPP campaign). I’ll keep your suggestions in mind… still gathering intel.

Rob-

I am an MLSP member, and I am getting a trickle of responses; nowhere close to a flood. Lead generation and sponsoring are the things I’m having the biggest problem with. No one seems to stick around. I’m not sure my stick rate is that bad, I’m just not getting enough people to show up in the first place.

If there is something I’m doing fundamentally wrong, I’d love to know what it is.

Thanks Rob.

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 12:16 pm

Jim – alas, my friend. Leads. Leads really are the name of the game because the unfortunate reality is MOST will buy… and of those that do, MOST will not take action and stick around. And of those who stick around, again, MOST will not do anything to move their business forward. So the reality is we are looking for the TINY 3-5% of the people who actually get in, get busy and make incredible things happen and to find these leaders takes a lot of sifting and sorting. If you are producing a result – just scale it up. Every now and then we get lucky and sign up a producer right away but, in most cases, it takes a lot of non-producers to find that one producer.

I would love to be taught step by step. I don’t want to get it done for me. I want something that is okay today do this, then okay do this the next day the same thing. What I haven’t seen yet is something like that that is personalized to me. I’ve found a couple step by step things but it is for the masses and when the masses use it it seems to get over saturated and then slows way down. Then A mentor to check in with me and make sure i’m doing my steps to keep me in line. I like mlm when you have a sponsor that will at least check in with you every onec in a while. Of course Affiliate marketing would be awesome also for the quick money maker to have to build business more….

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 12:13 pm

Dave – I heard you loud and clear. I tend to like the step-by-step model myself with someone coming along side to check up on the process, work and finished product. A lot of times, producing a better results isn’t really in doing anything that much different – it is the fine tweaks that make all the difference.

I am a full-time stay at home mom and network marketer. I am a member of MLSP and love all the training and funnels it offers. I am recently starting to engage more in article marketing to get the results I desire in MLM (traffic, leads, and increased income). The issue I need the most help with is converting the traffic to leads and sales. I don’t have alot of money to invest in courses but I had a friend share with me what she learned about posting for traffic, leads, and profit. I am trying to implement those stategies and I realize nothing happens overnight on internet without consistancy.

WOW, lol, all that said if I have to narrow it down to one thing that I need the most assistance with I would have to say creating the content to get visitors to click. I look forward to your reply to my comment.

Margaret – thank you for sharing. I think one of the things to keep in mind is your target audience and literally meeting them where they are. What challenges are they facing. What is the reason WHY behind their search. What were they really looking for when they made the inquiry? For example, a person who searches for “online mlm lead generation” is really looking to find a way to take their business to the next level and what you can discern from that is they have simply run out of people to talk to – or they are uncomfortable approaching their warm market. Knowing this, now you can gently remind them of the REAL PAIN they are looking to solve and guide them to a solution. Fun stuff…

Rob,
Thanks for the reply. I try to connect with other network marketers and like minded people. But I love your suggestion on thinking about what it is they are really searching for. I’d love a training from you on that! For example… if some searches for “what is affiliate marketing” are they really wanting to know what it is or are they searching for another product to market? Interesting.

Content creation is something I think I will consider working on. I’m noticing a lot of people really get stuck here… what I call the “blank page blues”… in not know what to write or how best to structure it to guide people into a solution. Hi Rob,

Have purchased POPP, AZ Crusher and on the verge is being in your EN team. I’m a newby and it seems I’m not alone by feeling like there is so much out there, it’s hard to know which path to take. My plan (you’ve mentioned this before) is to use EN to promote MLSP. My main question is, with limited budget, which would be the single most valuable tool to purchase – I know you recommend Article Marketing Robot and Tripe Pro quite often. Which tool is going to be most valuable to me as a beginner with limited budget. I’m not down to my last dollar (thankfully), but don’t want to buy everything available either.

Any recommendation would be great – this offer you’ve opened up to all has been more than generous – you really do walk the walk as a mentor.

Hey Jon – thanks for stopping by and asking such a pointed question. On a budget, if you have an authority blog or web site (like your own blog that currently ranks or an Empower Network blog that ranks) I would invest in Digi Traffic Accellerator first ($20 per month) as this gives you 300-400 links per post and Article Marketing Robot. If you need more links, the UAW and the other tools or, better, just outsource on a per post basis like we teach in the POPP course.

Sofia – wow, you go!

At this point, frankly, you have a lot of INFORMATION about how to market – but it seems very little in the way of tools that actually help you market. So my best advice at this point is to give yourself a time limit to ONCE AGAIN go through all the material you have with a goal of finding one ONE or TWO way of MARKETING that resonate with you. Some model of doing things you think you can live with over time. This might be pay-per-click advertising, youtube promoted videos, organic search or article marketing, etc. Spend the next 3-7 days days getting a broad-brush picture of the various MARKETING METHODS available and at the end of your scheduled research time allotment – pick a model.

Then focus on both studying, investing in the tools and actually DOING that one model until you produce results… then automate as much as possible to get your time back… THEN and only then go look for something to add on. Make sense?

MLSP gives you all the offers you need – and a place to post content. The POPP course will show you how to get traffic to your offers. So you do have a place to start.

Hi Rob,

Hope all is well; thanks for the consideration.

For the last six months, I have been slowly, following your mentorship. I started out just like yo with MLSP, even though I’m new to MLM and internet marketing.

I watched and studied all the leaders in MLSP and narrowed my focus down to you. I decided to follow one strategy and one mentor; article marketing and Rob Fore.

I have now gathered all my tools and studied as much as I could with the time that I have.

On May 21, Iwill start my 90 Day Bliss; I will commit to 10 hours a day, every day. And, at the end of 90 days, I will commit to what ever it takes to become a L4 or above, a leader in my primary and to partner-up with you.

I will write a minium one article of content per day on an authority site and one article on my blog per day. I will purchase the 30 articles a month from you.

I need cash fast, so I will submit an affiliate product once a week for 90 days.
Now; I’m a real estate agent in Las Vegas, and have been for 16 years, I’m single with no children. I have put all feathers aside; I’m all in to making this work and it will work.

I want to master article marketing and SEO, I see the value in it.
I need help writing great content, I’m also interested in building and hosting websites. I will not stop.

I would like for you to periodically review my progress and consult;

Thanks, Ted,

Ted – awesome. Glad to have you on our team. And I really love your focus:

On May 21, Iwill start my 90 Day Bliss; I will commit to 10 hours a day, every day. And, at the end of 90 days, I will commit to what ever it takes to become a L4 or above, a leader in my primary and to partner-up with you.

For the 90 day blitz, think PACE and maybe 10 hours a day is too hefty of a price to pay. It will work – most certainly, but don’t give up living to make a living. The potential for burnout is very real in this business because what can happen the first 90 days is you will put in a LOT of work but the results may not equal the time and effort put in. The results will come… but they often come much later than you want or desire… so that can lead to frustration and burn out. So watch for that.

If you use our authority content packages – post those first and spend most of your efforts getting backlinks to those articles to cause them to rank. Then, if you have time left over, write your own article and… YES… focus on keywords that will give you the best chance of collecting a lead (first and foremost) and making an affiliate sale of some kind (secondarily). The LIST is where the big money is in the long run. So promoting tools, training and other affiliate offers is a great strategy to create cash-flow, but don’t neglect list building. Balance the two for best results. Cash flow so you have funds to invest in more tools – list building for wealth.

Carl Capelan May 19, 2012 at 4:10 pm

Hi Rob, thanks for giving me the opportunity to tell you what I would like to have. The short and sweet of it is that I need a steady flow of leads to generate cash flow and multiple streams of passive income via online marketing. I retired 3 years ago, and my expenses and debt repayment obligations in retirement are significantly exceeding my retirement income. I am definetely serious because if I don’t achieve at least a mid five figure positive cash flow in the next 18 months, it’s back to a JOB I must go, and I truly don’t want to find myself it that position.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 4:39 pm

Carl – it is frightening, but I must hear the “I cannot afford to be retired” statement at least 6 times a day. Isn’t that something? After working hard for decades – most of us do not have enough put away to make ends meet once the income from a job or career.

Building a business to mid five figures over an 18 month window is VERY doable. It will take a lot of work, time and effort – but it is VERY doable. Best advice is to find someone who has produced that result in the time frame you are looking at in the programs you are involved in – find out what they did in the beginning, what they are doing now – and simply copy them. Literally. Do what they did step by step. Maybe even “double up” the effort in the beginning to get the ball rolling even faster.

I know empower network itself can handle the backlinks but is my blog a separate stand alone entity? do I have to slowely build up my Backlinks to get a PR on my blog first ? because ive notice when I use Market samarai and I see my blog posts ranking I have no Page Rank …
Im still trying to figure out why alot of my blog posts got deindexed in google and dissapeared

Hey Jason – congratulations for getting in and getting busy. $200 a week is VERY impressive for just getting started and you can certainly leverage that up pretty fast.

Far as backlinking goes – yes, because EN offers an authority blog you can pretty much do what you want as fast as you want. Than being said, keep in mind if you do to much too fast – that is a red flag you are building links unnaturally. So better is to be aggressive and get a LOT of links, but take your time making that happen. For example, let’s say 2,000 links per post. I would spread that out over a 60-90 period. In this case, SLOWER is FASTER in the long run. PR will come when you have high PR pages linking back to you and that is just a measure of authority. The higher the better, but you still need to appear to be getting links naturally. That was the big lesson learned from the latest Panda and Penguin updates.

Clayton – pick an article from those you purchased and follow the instructions to post it on your blog. Fire up AMR and follow the instructions to get backlinks to the blog post you just created. Do the same thing again and again and again for each article you purchased. Add more backlinking tools as you go along. PUBLISH (you have the articles), then PROMOTE (use tools to get backlinks).

Hi Rob.

Thanks for the opportunity to chat. I need to start generating leads so that I can create an income flow. Income is probably the biggest thing I need but since it comes from leads and traffic both would be nice. I don’t mind doing the work as long as I’m confident that I’m doing it correctly to get results. I haven’t really had a coach to work with so, I find myself just hoping I’m doing things right. I’m assuming the results will show as I continue.

I am starting over in my primary company as a result of some changes that occurred. I’ve even considered exploring other opportunities but not sure where to start and I’m trying to focus and not overload my plate because of the need for income fairly quickly. My wife has been unemployed and my income is being cut at my work so, I am determined to figure things out.

I’m just about finished setting up the tools from your list in HHU. So, I’m looking forward to the next lesson in your tutorial. I realize, that’s several areas but I guess they all lead to the income stream.

Thanks again.

Steve

Steve – I’m confident you will do well because you have been approaching the “model” right. You’ve tooled up… now it really is just a matter of POSTING ON PURPOSE… meaning know the GOAL you want to accomplish on a per post basis. So on one post you might want leads – so target keywords that will guide people to a free opt-in offer you have (think any of the MLSP system campaigns) or, if for profit, keywords most likely to attract a person looking to buy the product you want to offer (think MLSP product campaigns, MLSP itself, or Empower Network or your primary).

So there is a defined purpose and target market for each post. Then publish. On page optimize.

Then promote – fire off all the tools to get backlinks and lots of them.

Rinse and repeat. Forever! Or at least until the time comes when you can outsource that part of it.

Not that you can help with that… Just a brief bio. I just need to know were to start? Were to focus to get cash flow! I want out of this truck! I want to be with my family! Dave – like a lot of the people sharing on this post, it sounds like paralysis do to info and opportunity overwhelm. There is no “secret sauce” hidden in any one opportunity that will give you more of an advantage over any other opportunity. Each product, service or opportunity requires MARKETING. Plain and simple. Meaning we all need to stop buying INTO things and start MARKETING the product, service and business opportunity we already have. In your case, you could tie in the AZ Crusher routine of finding best-selling Amazon products and MARKET THEM using the Empower Network authority blog you already have. This actually gives you an advantage over most who might decide to embrace the AZ Crusher model because they will be creating NEW blogs without age and authority – which will normally take a good 8-12 weeks just to rank.

I just need a outline. exp: day 1 do this_______. and this is what you will learn in week 1 ect. I would love it taught like a class. there are so many people out there teaching but they all jump around and there’s no real layout. I want to be taught all about online marketing and why you do this and what its about. Like with affiliate marketing, which companies are good to start out with and which ones to avoid, steps on doing that till you get a good feel of marketing and are making money to move on.

Reply

Rob Fore May 19, 2012 at 9:21 pm

Michelle – appreciate your feedback. I’m like that as well. I like a more linear approach. Start here, do this, then this and this is why.

It seems a lot of people are sharing a similar desire for a more step-by-step, module type training so it is very good that we are getting such wonderful participation. It is helpful because as a leader, trainer and coach – quite often we just move forward believing we are doing well and not realizing… despite our best intentions… we are often still leaving people confused. I “kinda” felt that after completing our team training site. Lots of good, useable info… but no “module” approach really. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Rob,

Thanks a lot for the invite. I started into IM after a very successful stint of over four decades in the hospitality industry. It been around 15 months now. I have over 200 articles on Ezine Articles, 4 web sites but it is perhaps the knowledge gap that keeps serious traffic away. I have now joined MLSP, gone through your POPP program but I am where I was!

I feel I need someone to hold my hand and teach me how to walk. I should be able to take over from there to join the marathons.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Ram – heck, if you have over 200 pieces of content out there… you are halfway around the track on your way towards finishing the race!

I’m serious. A lot of people get stuck AT THE GATE and never make into the actual race… the “let’s get to work” part. So congratulations and kudos to you.

If you are in MLSP then check out the system campaigns and product campaigns. These are all viable lead generating, cash producing offers you can feature in your articles. Start writing to attract people most likely to be interested in those offers. Also, next thing is to go REPURPOSE all the content you have publish in Ezinearticles to your own blog (if you have one) and if you don’t – go get one. Empower Network offers a good authority blog you can use to get started. Or simply post your content on the MLSP site and start PROMOTING the content by getting back links to it. You can also leverage your current content by REPURPOSING the content on the doc-sharing sites like we teach in the POPP course. Simply republish – promote to get the content to rank – and you’ll be well on your way.

Hi Rob, great offer……
I have a very high performing offline business which generates a great income for me and my family. However, there is always a however! I want OUT, out of the stress and 18 hour days 7 days a week…

I have been marketing online for around 12 weeks have created a list of just under 2000 subscribers and have earned around $1200. I have always know that you can make money online but like many have been put off by the scammers etc..

I want help to generate leads but not just any old leads, leads that are targeted towards my business, like you said the curious and the serious, not the tyre kickers and time wasters.

I have and do spend money on banners and solos as well as blog most days, use classified ads free and paid for.

So, how do I get to 100+ leads per day, and THEN, part two, how do I make the most from these leads…

That Rob is how you can help me my freind….

Allan – impressive. To have built a list of 2,000 after being online just three months is impressive. Great job.

If your metrics are working – meaning you are spending LESS than you are pulling in – just keep doing what you are doing and scale it up. Later, once you have this part pretty much optimized and automated as much as possible, the BEST traffic will come from organic search as these are people ACTIVELY SEARCHING at that moment in time for your type of product, service of business opportunity. SEO can be outsources as well.

Rob, I’m am member of MLSP and the Empower Network. In the Empower Network I’m in your powerline. I’ve learned a lot from your Heavy Hitter University and got your POPP course. I have 95% of the tools you recommend to do the job of getting on page one of Google. Following your instructions I have gotten many of my keywords onto Google’s page one but haven’t seen much traffic for my efforts. I have not been able to put the hole package together for some reason. What I’ve learned about network marketing has come from MLSP, you and all the products in the Empower Network. I like to learn and put those things to use, but have some kind of disconnect. I’m also using some paid marketing but am not getting conversions and I have to start getting some cash flow or just struggle along the way I am now.

Thanks any thing will help.

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 7:14 am

Richard – it sounds like you are doing things correctly so now it really is a matter of scale. If you are getting content to rank, just keep adding more content and getting more content to rank. Keep in mind the numbers need to be BIGGER than most people think. For example, let’s say you are going after a keyword that gets, on average, 1200 EXACT MATCH searches per month…

Rank #1 on Google and you can expect to get 36% of the clicks IF you have a great title
Rank #2 = 12%
Rank #3 = 9%

So let’s say your rank #5 which brings about 6% x 1200 = 72 visits PER MONTH.

Starting to see the bigger picture? It takes a LOT of high ranking pages to create a steady stream of incoming traffic. Then, once the traffic starts to flow nicely, you need to work on converting that traffic to opt-in or sale.

Everyone gets their start. What research methods do you use to learn which affiliate programs/MLM programs to invest your time in. Research is the name of the game and I’d like to know how you research markets to determine which business/product to invest in.

Reply

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 7:00 am

I don’t, Trevor. You are really over-thinking things to much. In my case, because my primary focus is to sponsor people into my primary network marketing business, my goal is to attract and engage with people who are either looking for ways to make money (to these guys we promote ANY best selling make money program like Empower Network) and then backend the primary. Or we are looking to attract and engage people who are already in network marketing and need leads, tools and training (to these guys we promote all MLSP related tools and products or any other tool to help them promote their current business). We let the keyword research tell us what direct to go and find a product that best fits. We FOCUS on MLSP, EN and SEO tools. That’s it.

I have the tools that you gave in HHU and after I post an article I usually run through all the tools right then and there. Is that a mistake, doing them all at once?

If it is, then how far apart should I space each tool for use?

Reply

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 7:06 am

You can – which is what I tended to do pre-panda. Now I just spread it out. As I share in the Predatory SEO, we now fire off a tool… wait 48 hours to a week, then fire off another. They key is to be aggressive in getting large numbers of links, but take MUCH longer to make it happen.

Rick Daugherty May 20, 2012 at 8:16 am

Hey Rob, Rick Daugherty here, first off I wanted to thank you for taking the time to talk with my on the phone last week, I really appreciate it. As you know my son Brenden and I are working together in Empower Network, blogging and creating videos. Using the tools that you suggest what is a realistic time frame to expect to see results and also on a budget of $500.00 a month what do you suggest to start with being that part of that money goes to pay for monthly tool subscriptions? We have outsourced a little on Fiverr with some results but not knowing alot about Seo we don’t know if the people we are contacting are legit. Like many of the others here have stated, information overload is a problem, what tools should we start with and focus on?

Thanks, Rick and Brenden

Reply

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 3:15 pm

Hey Rick – I have all the tools use use listed here (Recommended Tools) and I literally use all of the tools on that page to run my business. We also do a lot of outsourcing when pressed for time. If you have been through our private team training site then you should know the drill. It’s keywords, content, publish and promote.

Time-frame for results? That is an impossible question to answer because everyone will target different keywords – some more effective than others… and everyone will rank differently – some higher than others… and everyone will convert to lead or sale differently. For example, with MLSP, I average a 11% lead-to-sale conversion rate while the company average is closer to 2.9%. Why? Because our FUNNEL is different. I do a LOT of pre-selling first by sending people into a free bootcamp or comprehensive review or a stand alone self-made splash page versus what is offered by the company. So that is an impossible question to answer.

If you intend to go full steam ahead with SEO – I would suggest picking up a copy of our Predatory SEO package, follow the instructions and just make it happen. Think marathon race, not a sprint. It took me about a year to hit six figures with SEO and I happen to know what I’m doing! LOL

Show me and I can learn and then do. Please don’t be someone who assumes it is easy for others. It takes me detailed directions and if you can do that, and be available to answer my questions as I go, I know I can build a successful business. I always have seemed to have uplines that are anxious to help but they soon fade away. I;ll be waiting for your reply and I am actually excited that you seem genuine in your desire to help others become successful. Thanks.

Scott – thanks for reaching out but I am not really looking for one person to be my “project” as a lot of people are thinking here – I’m just looking for feedback where people think they are having challenges so we can put together a better training or step-by-step coaching program for everyone. I have a team of 10,000 active distributors that pretty much take up all my personal one-on-one time, but if you have ever gone through any of my training materials they are pretty step-by-step to get people started. We focus on internet marketing for leads – then back end our primary businesses. Review our Attraction Marketing Bootcamp (it’s free) to get a better idea.

I have been trying to build an MLN passive income (on my 3rd company) and decide to focus on line to build my primary company and develop multiple In the past ~ 60 days I have purchase MLSP, on your team, then from your recommendations: EN – $500 level, Article builder, all inclusive ads, Posting for profits, AZcrusher. I also purchased Ray Higdon’s Blog academy. Bought a web site and hosting on hostgator but not set up. I’m over whelmed with information and not making $ and no new leads. I would like to create my web site, have a blog site as impressive as yours and establish a sales funnel. I will add Predatory SEO to help rank my web and blog sites.

Reply

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 3:25 pm

Hey Mike – information overload seems to be a common ailment, doesn’t it?

But I think, in the beginning, it is almost a necessary rite of passive because we often come to the table “not knowing what we don’t know” so it is important to get a wide view of the entire landscape BEFORE picking a path to follow.

So my recommendation is to go peruse all the info again very quickly. Then MAKE A MARKETING DIRECTION DECISION – how will you intend to market? Will it be paid advertising, spamming, organic SEO and content marketing, etc. Pick a model. From that point forward – STOP BUYING STUFF that does not explicitly apply to learning more about your chosen model or help you execute the chose model.

Right now, since you are in MLSP and have an Empower Network blog – you have everything you need to get started today. Log into MLSP and get set up. The pick a system campaign or a product campaign and do some keyword research around the campaign you picked. Watch the campaign videos and read through the sales copy. WRITE A REVIEW about it and post the review on your EN blog using the on-page optimization techniques we talk about in POPP and Predatory SEO. Then start getting backlinks to the new post your created.

Rinse and repeat – creating a new post for each keyword you think will attract the right person to optin to learn more about the system campaign or product campaign. For example, if you picked to sell our Predatory SEO package to earn a nice 30% commission – you might come up with over 100 keywords you could target, write content for, publish and promote. Three months worth of work (if you post once a day) just for that one product! And there are a couple dozen back there!

Bottom line – it is time to stop learning and start applying. WORK. Keywords, content, publish and promote. Same thing… every day, day after day after day. And THAT IS WHAT CREATES the traffic, leads and sales.

No work… no money. Plain and simple.

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the great input. Two questions:
1. I have EN on auto pilot with Article builder. After listening to “John’s” testimony I decided to max the potential. I used AB to post 3 x day with 5 different internet marketing / home businesses. 18 post per day. Is that OK or will I get shut down?
2. Bought AZ crusher and add on Longtail, AZ site builder and Product digger. (great tools) thinking about adding: SEO’d Amazon Review Videos .AZ Crusher Wordpress Themes, Key work winner and fortune 500 link builder. Do you recommend this strategy?
Thanks again for you valued input.

Chris May 20, 2012 at 7:43 pm

Hi Rob,
I have been following you for the last few weeks and am absolutely amazed by the VALUE you offer – through your site for sure, but more specifically through your responses to everyone’s comments – and there are lots of those!
Rob, I am pretty new to internet marketing in general (2 months). My real issue is CASH FLOW. I am not strapped for cash (lucky), but I want to start generating some cash ASAP so that I know I am moving forward.
I have my own website already with about 20 posts. Not much.
I am thinking of joining EN (under you :) ) and then Article Builder, although you say you will provide 30 articles per month? I can then spin some (or all) of these articles on both my EN blog and my official website building consistent, congruent content through all my sites.
My main question is; What 1, 2, 3 things do I need to focus on to generate cash flow in the quickest possible time?
Really excited for the coming weeks and months and working under you and learning from you.

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 8:23 pm

Chris – hey, thanks for spying on me! LOL

I just sent you over a private email but for those who have the money to invest to “buy everything” – Empower Network is a good place to start for immediate cash flow. The program converts well so it then just becomes a matter of driving targeted traffic to the site. With you current blog, I would POP an EN offer on the pages that are attracting the classic business opportunity seeker crowd for opt-in and to drive them into the funnel.

Biggest challenge with EN right now is they do not have a tracking function coded into the system that works well. They are using Hypertracker but everything is being dumped into a catch all file and it becomes impossible to tell which campaigns are bringing in the leads and conversions. My goal is to “knock out” the lead capture pages and initial presentation pages so we can install tracking on our end. Leaving only to match incoming leads with sales manually to figure it out – but the margins are PERFECT for paid advertising.

Hi Rob.
I am using POPP and working on writing as close to daily as I can.
But if I had a magic wand:
1. Cash flow
2. How to pull together the affiliate marketing, get it out there and create a stream of income.
3. How to outsource? I have products I do not know how to use, for mobile apps, amazon..and I can not do it all.
4. I have am idea for a product, simple one, but I think it would be of interest. How do I get that off the ground? I am spending time working on POPP, using the Authority Content Profit System, and heading into Predatory SEO.
I am focusing on writing and posting. How can I start to create a cash flow faster?
It was great talking to you and I will say it hear: POPP is the best course I have bought, I love the Authority Content System and I can not wait to get my teeth into the SEO.
Wishing you and Lisa a great week!

Thank you, Carolyn for the great testimonial about our Posting on Purpose course. I appreciate it, and thanks for sharing your list of magic wand requests! Great stuff.

If you have product in mind now – I would start splitting your time up to start targeting keywords that make sense for your own product, write content, publish and promote. Ideally, offer something free that hints at the product to come and provide some type of value so you can start building a list around an interest for your product.

The other half of your time – complete your product. Get it done. Doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to provide great value as first sales are often the mosts critical. Once complete, set up a funnel and install an affiliate program of some kind (maybe a WSO) or consider clickbank. Give away a few copies to get testimonials. Add them to the sales copy. Then SELL it to your own list first. Crunch the numbers and then share these metrics with potential affiliates. Offer a huge commission – 70% or so on this first product because the LIST you build is more valuable then any commissions earned early on. Give everyone a HUGE reason to push your product (and let the affiliates do all the heavy duty promotion and traffic) and this will build your list. The remaining 30% will pay for everything and give you some pocket money.

Once you’ve had a success launch – it’s all down hill from there.

Hi Rob. Thank-you for your insight on how to launch the product. I am still in the building phase..putting it mildly. I need to start and see a cash flow. Wishing you a great evening.

Hi Rob
Just want to say Hi and tell you I wish I could get over my fear of being successful. I know that I am a smart and very coachable human. But like everything else, I worry way too much about what everyone else in my life thinks. I know everyone that matters just wants the best for me so I need to get over it and take action because I not only think I know I am going to succeed in this business. So I guess to answer your question I need an MLM coach or a swift kick in the pants. Hope you have a great day and thanks for letting me vent..

Rob Fore May 20, 2012 at 9:38 pm

Troy – wow, I’m impressed. Most people have no conscious clue that two of the biggest hurdles we must all jump through on our way to becoming everything we can be is:

1) Overcoming a fear of success
2) Stop tripping on what others think

Fear of success is a big one because success presents such a huge UNKNOWN for most of us. What will that mean? Will people stop liking me for me? Will it create conflict. Will I abuse the result and become a danger to myself and others? LOTs of potential challenges to overcome there. LOTs of hidden landmines. But what I’ve discovered it, for most of us, success comes a lot slower than we imagine so it gives us time to grow into it. Meet the challenges as they come, learn, grow and be ready for the next one. I actually started meditating an hour a day almost seven years ago now and that helped me a LOT. Plus reading books on leadership, stewardship and things like that.

Worrying about what others think? Another tough one. Why not ZIP THE LIP and stop talking about what you intend to do and just go do it? Also, frankly, unless you step up to pay my bills… feed my dog… and provide security for my family… why in the world should I listen to you? Sounds harsh, but really? EVERYONE has an opinion and EVERYONE has right to voice their opinion – but EVERYONE also has the choice to listen to someone else’s opinion or not. My thought is if you live and operate from a place of “caring enough to care” and staying in integrity (my wife calls it “keeping your side of the street clean”) – then what other people say, think or do… for or against you, with or without you, should be of no real concern to you.

I desperately need cash flow. Also, I can’t wait for days & weeks to go by to get to that position! I have tried all sorts of stuff, and I get seriously “stuck” and can’t move forward. Then I give up because I missed a step along the way. I can’t tell you how many times that has happened to me. The people teaching the classes get “comfortable” and then start missing steps and by the time I am at that step, everyone is way past me and I give up. I had an instance where a trainer actually said I will call you at 1pm and I will walk you thru this step! It took only 3 mins. and I was on my way again. But I get lost and got stuck and stopped.

Now I don’t have the luxury of time. Certainly not weeks. I got your Blogging for Profits, but I haven’t set up a WP site. A whole new experience for me. Once we have to set up “campaigns” I am dead in the water. I can’t seem to understand how to tie in Aweber with the links, or whatever they are. Dead stopped again.

I can’t tell you how absolutely frustrated I am. I have bought tons of programs, listened and tried to learn hundreds of hours of training I have done and I still don’t have a WP site up and I don’t know how to completely set up a campaign. So I am nowhere, and desperate.

Reply

Rob Fore May 21, 2012 at 6:58 am

Cathy – thank you for sharing your frustrations. I feel your pain. Been there, done that.

When we first start anything new there tends to be a huge learning curve and, frankly, there is no short-cut around that learning curve. If you have not set up a blog yet – then you really need to put everything else aside and go LEARN how to set up a blog. Nothing else. Search for tutorials, visit forums and ask for help. Whatever it takes. The only other option is to get stuck and quit. Which serves no one, especially yourself.

On another note – keep in mind if you do set up a new web site or blog with your own domain and hosting then start posting and promoting every day… you can literally DO EVERY THING RIGHT and still not rank on the search engines (which means you will get very little traffic, leads and sales) not because you are doing anything wrong, but simply because that is how the internet works. A new site needs to “AGE” and gain a bit of “AUTHORITY” before you’ll be granted any search engine love and this is usually a good 3-6 month process. It takes time. Plain and simple

If you are pressed for time… seriously pressed for time… then you are best served by joining something like Empower Network where they give a blog already set up that has some age and authority. This means you get to skip the 3-6 month part of the equation and will find yourself in a position to get in, get busy and start producing results right away. Once you have your blog going, the next step is you MUST go learn aweber and tie that in. Again, no short cut around the learning curve. YOU have to stick with it until you get it. It it takes 6 hours… so be it. If it takes six days of hair pulling, nail biting, and chair kicking… so be it. OR you can pay someone to do it for you. But it needs to get done one way or the other.

Hi Rob,
Being a lifelong student, starting with Med School and a few years back a pilot’s license (at 50+), this internet stuff is as complicated as learning pharmacology! Challenge one is learning everything, being quite a bit older (now over 60) than most people who are writing any instructions. I really think it’s important to do it yourself and so to understand the medium better. Challenge two is structure, as we have more than one thing to market and how to organize that! I guess I just need advice or as I call it a reality check from time to time. Thanks for every single bit of your excellent information! Robin

Robin – love it!

…this internet stuff is as complicated as learning pharmacology!

AND, once we do wrap our minds around it, there is still all the Continuing Eduction Classes we have to keep up with because if there is one thing we can count on when it comes to embracing the art and science of internet marketing is change. The “rules” are constantly changing.

In regards to structure – multiple products and services to the same niche market isn’t a big deal. Each POST or each VIDEO or each product specific marketing campaign stands alone. So not a big deal there. But if you are marketing a wide variety of products to distinctly different niche markets – you almost have to create distinct sites otherwise it won’t work well.

Rob,

Been following you for a while, and apprecaite all you do for the community. I’m a web developer by trade, so I decided to build and design my own funded proposal system. It’s finally up and running (launched in Feb) and from what I’ve seen thus far, it’s converting as it should for a marketing funnel.

However, I need to make some improvements and then figure out how to ramp up traffic. Overall, I’m happy with my growth, but I just want to learn how to best drive traffic into the system.

Thanks for responding to all of these comments!

Hey Mark – awesome work on MLMRockStars.com

First, it will just take a bit of time for the new domain to get some age and authority. Rankings will improve as time goes by.

Second, for organic SEO – massive keyword targeted content that ranks. Plain and simple… or paid traffic. So there is no magic, really. Just what I call brute force marketing. Lots and lots of content promoted to rank so we literally force our way onto the front page of the major serps.

Richard – search around for “convert article to video” and you find a lot of software programs that will accomplish that task. You can also use power point to create the presentation and then Camtasia or other screen recording software to create the video.

Hi Rob… glad you asked ;-) !
I am an affiliate marketer and I realize the potential in MLM and online lead gen (feel drawn to it lately). I live in Switzerland and have been marketing online for two years now (primarily to English speaking countries). Do you think this could actually be done by someone working from Europe? I know teambuilding and being a leader is important in this case. Can this actually be done internationally working online? Do you expect people to be more skeptical prior to joining when they realize you’re not American?
I’d really appreciate your honest advice on this! If your answer is “yes”, how would you go about finding the right sponsor and company online?
Thanks for all your great comments here!

Brigitte- it’s funny you should ask this question because I actually hear it a lot.

The reality is, there have been studies done that strive to measure “if and how” accents change perception and the results CLEARLY indicate… here in the US, we think people with european, french and australia accents are SMARTER. Isnt’t that something? But I think, bottom line, is it does not matter WHERE you live or where you operate your business from. That is the magic of marketing online. We can be anywhere… anytime… and use the internet to generate traffic, leads and make sales from a GLOBAL market place. That’s the magic.

I have a team of over 10,000 active distributors world wide in one of my MLM businesses and while sometimes finding a “common ground time zone” for personal coaching presents a challenge – for the most part it is not an issue because we have team training sites, videos, instruction and more available. Also you can tie your team into a local leader as well it they need more timely help.

Perhaps the biggest challenge you might face is living in Switzerland as many companies may not be open there. Meaning YOU can’t sign up because that is where you live. So you’ll need to do your search, find a couple companies and teams your resonate with – make sure they are “internet marketing friendly” – and are also open for business in your country. Empower Network is a great place to start as it can provide “primary company” income, traffic, leads and sales and is open in 170 countries. Later you can add another primary MLM as well on the back end.

Rob, I have just taken on the care of my 86-year old mother, am an organic farmer with little or no money, and am trying to make a go of my SendOutCards business. I have had little to no time to spend on it, don’t like networking or phone calling, I just cant seem to get to it. I really want to make my SOC business rock and would love to have someone call for me, make the sale, as MLM just isn’t in the cards for me right now. I hate conventions, love growing food, caring for my mom is a challenge, but I understand residual and want it bad. Any ideas?

Reply

Rob Fore May 21, 2012 at 9:43 am

Cheryl – I think we would ALL just love to have someone make the calls for us, close and train our people but unless you are willing to go “set up shop” to make that happen – it isn’t going to happen. If you are generating enough leads or if you are buying leads by the thousands then you can hire a telemarketing team to make the calls. But, frankly, I would GUESS that would be too expensive and I would GUESS it would never really work well because building a profitable MLM business is all about relationships and becoming the leader people are looking for. My best advise, frankly, is it sounds like you should switch to growing and selling organics… maybe create a product around that… ditch the idea building out a profitable MLM business because it doesn’t sound like you are willing to REALLY, HONESTLY, SERIOUSLY do what you need to do to get that done – so why continue to kid yourself?

Go where your heart is – create a business around that – and send thank you cards to customers. Voila!

You are easy to listen to and I like the way you explain things. Thank you so much for all the free training and advice that you give. It is very much appreciated and invaluable.

If I could wave a magic wand I would like you to be my mentor and teacher. I am currently overwhelmed with everything on the internet like a rabbit sitting still in the headlights and getting nowhere fast. I seem to jump from one thing to the next and achieve nothing.

I would like you to give me a step by step plan. E.g. tell me do this first, when complete move on to this, when complete move on to this etc.

Rob,

I am new to internet marketing and, since January, have spent much of my time learning and becoming overwhelmed with all there is to know withsubscribing to Empower Network, MLSP, Magnetic Sponsoring, etc!

I have been through your Boot Camp and Heavy Hitter University and was considering signing up for the 90-day training you offer.

Having been a teacher, curriculum developer and still in the education arena, I am very impressive with the quality and depth of the training you have. I really respect your sincerity and concern for your students.

I think what I really need right now is a specific step-by-step action
plan that integrates everything….and I think you’d be the perfect mentor.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

You said,

…and was considering signing up for the 90-day training you offer.

This isn’t a 90 day training if you are referring to the HHU “90 day blitz” – that gives you 90 access to post on one of my authority blogs and since you are active with EN – you don’t need that. Your EN blog is an authority site already so you can simply post there. I would encourage you to read through all the answers to the comments here. A lot of people are in the same programs and I share a few times how to tie them all together. Well be working on a more strategic step-by-step deal here in the very near future I’m sure. Seems there is a lot of need for that.

Keep in mind I make a full-time executive income MARKETING so you’ll always see amazing stuff come down the pipe in addition to our free tips, tricks and inside secrets. BUT, hear me loud and clear here… that does not mean you should buy everything. In fact, I make it a point in most of materials that most people should STOP BUYING STUFF because general information, no matter how great the quality of quantity of that information, is of little (if any) value to building out a profitable business.

I INVEST heavily in specific information, training and tools. What do I mean? Once I have a direction – a marketing method I have selected to follow, for example – then I will invest heavily in anything that can help me learn, apply or produce more results from that model. But nothing else. If what is being sold does not somehow apply… I never reach into my pocket. Why do that? Why pay for yet another distraction?

Hello Rob!

Love your emails, content, what you bring to the table. Here’s what happens over here…

My people say “There’s too much in the back office, too much training, too much functionality, it’s overwhelming!” So I say, “I get that. So, do one thing at a time. 1:Do this 2:Then do this.” and they say stuff like, “Well, I spoke to so-and-so about joining their MLM instead of the one I am in, I think that might be the answer.” And… I proceed to pull out my hair.

Like that really happens! People don’t do the steps in order to get leads, to get success.

Help!

Eric… welcome to the wonderful world of being the leader of your team! It’s like trying to herd cats, isn’t it?

The unfortunately reality is you CAN give people a literal step-by-step process… and give them the KEYS to the kingdom… and, still, most will not follow the process and the majority will put the key in their pocket without ever using it to open the treasures available. I guess it is just human nature. So, as the leader, your job is simply to be able to give them the information, training, encouragement and direction they need – then let it go. Emotionally. Because if YOU focus on the majority who are not taking action… who are not following the simply instructions… who are completely skipping steps because the insist “it won’t work for me” or whatever… it becomes very discouraging and you risk mental and emotional burnout.

You cannot want success more for them than they want for themselves.

Most people are hoping beyond reasonable hope they have purchased a turnkey SOLUTION and once they discover they didn’t… that they actually invested in a tool that requires time, energy and attention… off they go in search for yet another mystical magic pill that does not (and will not ever) exist.

Hi Rob,

I am on your MLSO team and have also bought your Posting on Purpose product and have other products from other leaders but have definitely gotten overwhelmed and confused as to what pat to follow to get cash flow fast. What I probably need to do is focus on a small number of the “right things” and do them consistently for the next 30 days – with your leadership.

I have spent many months and spent lots of money but have not yet generated a positive ROI on any of these “business units”.

Let’s you and I get my MLSP back up and posting on purpose and Empower blog (or our responsible-energy.com blog?) cranked up and generating some positive ROI cash in the next 30 days.
Sincerely,

Curtis

Reply

Rob Fore May 21, 2012 at 12:01 pm

Curtis – hey, man. It IS really easy to get distracted with stuff that serves no purpose except to distract us.

Simple answer. Put everything away. Make sure you have MLSP set up with your affiliate links and have it coded to your aweber or getresponse list. Do whatever you have to do to create a kick-butt review for both MLSP and Empower Network and post both of these reviews on our own blog (if you have one) and your Empower Network blog. This now becomes YOUR funnel.

Now follow what we teach in the HHU or Predatory SEO package to start finding keyword your target market is looking for that you feel you can rank for based on your tool set. Write AT LEAST one new keyword rich piece of targeted content per day and publish it to your blog(s). Use the tools to get backlinks. In each post – determine if the visitor will be most likely to be interested in MLSP or EN and link to the most appropriate review (the ones you created). You review should PRESELL them into taking a good, hard, serious look at EN or MLSP.

That’s it. That’s the model. Repeat daily.

Curtis Randolph May 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm

AOK. Will do. I need to get an autoresponder then to connect with MLSP. My current autoresponder soes not paly nice with MLSP like Aweber or Get Response. I also got under you in the Articlebuilder and it already sends one blog post to several blogs – our primary business development company blog – responsible-energy.com and also the empower blog. What do you do when you use the Article builder service? Build the article, publish it, then SEO it? Do you have outsourcers SEO your articles or do you do that yourself? How exactly? I have followed your HHU and it just confuses me more unless we can get into this level of detail. Thanks a “million” hehehe

Troy Dugo May 21, 2012 at 11:20 am

There are SO many tools and plugins and I am a little overwhelmed. I am slowly going through each video and writing out in detail each step and also each little “side-step” I need to make article marketing happen. I have a big plan with several sources of “auto-pilot” income using 4 blogs but I am just a little unsure of which tools go where. I would like you to take control of my screen, watch and record you do several posts. Just getting familiar with a new plugin is confusing. But I am working through this. I have to. I love doing this. I want to get to the point to teach my son. No sense having them sell their time to someone else.

Reply

Rob Fore May 21, 2012 at 12:04 pm

Troy – yeah, the early “set up” stages are usually the most challenging because we need to learn it all. So “laying the foundation” is a bit taxing. But the good news is once this is complete (you only have to do it once) then you can get about the business of marketing and promoting effectively. Another idea is to use elance.com or some other outsourcing place to do the technical set up for you… install plugins, test them, etc. That is what I do. I don’t really do the “technical” stuff any more and haven’t for a long while. It isn’t necessary. Give someone a list of plugs in and tell the to go install them all. $50 and 48 hours later… you’re good to go.

As you know I have been following you for over a year and find your information, style, personally and training the best available…or as I always say to you AWESOME. Time, overload and confusion is my enemy. I need a well developed general guide and some “how to” on the use of TOOLS such as Autoresponders, Hosting such as Aweber, SEO, Practical Examples, looking over the shoulders, etc. I, like you don’t need to be taken by the hand but given the best information and it is up to me to “develop”, then move to the next Step. I’m a Master Procrastinator. I think that’s because of being uncertain on what to do. When I look at my EN, MLSP, SOC I see a lot of “hits” but no conversions and I don’t know why. Is everything setup.. I don’t know. Lot of blog work..no results..frustration…and because of the heavy demands on my time, I would like to see some small results to build confidence and know that I am starting to “put it together”. Love your SEO training…AWESOME. As my mentor, I am patterning my style after you. Again, ROB thanks for all you do..you are AWESOME.

Rob Fore May 21, 2012 at 3:23 pm

Hey Bill – thanks for stopping by and sharing.

First, because you are seeing hits but no leads – yeah, I would go in and pretend to be your own prospect. Go TEST your own funnel. It could very well be that something is not set up properly. I’ve done that myself more times than I can count… lot’s of work, missed a step, and the entire thing doesn’t work. So definitely go test your funnel.

If you test a GO – all is good – then it’s time to go to the next level (first level is to get traffic) which is to so start testing out various ways of optimizing your CALLS TO ACTION. Test different opt in offers, test different banners, test different PS, etc. I tend to use a lot of POP UPS behind my content.

But, keep in mind, as well… as I shared in a comment below – it often takes a LOT MORE traffic than you think to make money.

Hey, Rob, thank you so much for the opportunity!

Thanks for listening to what we think we need!

I think the greatest weakness of me is that I don’t really know what to with my Internet Network Marketing list, even thought everybody says: “the money is in the list”. I can imagine a list of customers who already purchased something, especially if that’s in relation with some specific knowledge like SEO, but I don’t know how to convert my lead list! I would love to hear some training on that!

The other topic is understanding targeting keywords that really target hungry buyers, I mean what criterions tell whether a keyword is a buying keyword or not!

By the way I just moved to Malta (sunny island) to see what life is like here!

Thanks for your support, Rob and this opportunity!
Steven

Reply

Rob Fore May 22, 2012 at 1:53 pm

Steven – Malta? Wow, how awesome is that!

For your leads – the model I follow is pretty basic. Once a person opts-in they get a series of follow ups designed to move them forward to investing in whatever it was they first expressed an interest in. Mixed in between the normal “selling” emails – I also sprinkle in a few relationship building emails and might direct them back to my blog for encouragement, etc. Once a week I send a broadcast out to the list to encourage them more direct to “buy now” the whatever it is they first looked at. Next day I send another broadcast to encourage them to check out my primary MLM business – which is how we get our primary in front of them. That’s it. That’s the model.

I’ve heard a few times here people are looking for more clarification on keyword research and what makes a good keyword so I’ve certainly put that on the list of training “to dos”.

Hey Rob- big fan..huge fan.. I have been in the industry for some years now with no success, kind of like your team member Tim you mentioned in the inner circle training five years of nothing until EN (smart man to stick with you) because it paid off… I am a believer…

My problem if I may real quick was I never had a real leader to follow up with to see if I was doing things right, or how I needed to tweek things a little (my wife of 23yrs, I love her like 23yrs ago isn’t as enthusiastic as I am, I really can’t blame her I haven’t brought any cashflow into the household, but she supports me because of my belief) I wasn’t, and am not looking for someone to hold my hand, just advice.

Anyway Rob I know there are tons of people posting here for your attention, but I want to steal it away for myself…lol..

I have gained an incredible interest and love for blogging, producing content and all that pertains to how to get rankings with SEO, I have all the tools you recommended as critical, and I am about to get SEO Predator real soon, but I what I really want to know more and need help on is how to be able to attract the right target market. I think I am, but I am my own critic.

I can’t seem to get enough eyes on my content or any for that matter, and if I get a lead they don’t leave a ph# (every single one…well all 5 of them). So that is where I would start and I believe when YOU can help me identify where my weaknesses and flaws ae I will turn that corner that has been eluding me for all these years, and become the next hispanic TIM on your team.

I would love to walk on fire with you someday ;)

Well that’s it hopefully that is enough, because it is my story and I am sticking to it..Thks Rob for the opportunities

Hey Phil…

We share kindred spirits. For probably 20 years I spent “bazillions” on various tools, products, systems, bootcamps and more without having too much (if any success) which means I was ALWAYS spending much more than we were making. My wife was gracious enough to “support me” and offer words of encouragement and even had faith when I didn’t. Eventually I “grew” into the person I needed to be to start producing a result and that really happened when I finally got past my ego (because I had, by now, a LOT of head knowledge) and actually started listening and, more importantly, started DOING what I was being instructed to do.

First time out of the gate where I actually bought a new “system” and decided to follow the instructions… it took 9 months of work without making a dime. Not a single penny. I worked two jobs to pay the bills and feed the dog then came home and worked another 4 hours daily on the project (I was writing a book/system for real estate agents). Then we took out a second on our house to pay for advertising and… BAM! It worked. We finally started to make money. So our “overnight success” literally took over 20 years to pull off. Crazy, huh?

Rob Fore May 23, 2012 at 7:37 am

Arthur – everything in the HHU still works post panda and post penguin. What we teach in the HHU is literally what I do everyday. The only real difference now is we build out links SLOWER than before. So we might fire off one tool today and get 200 links… wait 48 hours and get another 200… wait a week and blast out another 1,000. We are also mixing up our anchor text to make it about 50% exact keyword match and 50% long tail or LSI words.

Empower Network is a good addition to MLSP and a lot of people are treating it as a “primary” because if you earn 100% on up to four of the products – $25 monthly, $100 monthly, $500 one time and $1,000 one time. In fact I just got a $1,000 commission this morning. So because there is a lot of cash flow involved… it is one of the fastest, easiest ways to get a nice monthly income coming in.

We do about 8k per month now with EN and I’m working on building out a team training site now. In the meanwhile we are giving people access to our heavy hitter university and showing them how to promote MLSP on their EN blog so they can get paid twice.

Fun stuff. You can learn more here: http://empowernetworkdomination.com and join here: http://listechinc.com/joinnow

Hi Rob,

There is a long weekend coming up and for me it is time to start.
I would have you put your training videos in mpeg format so
while taking notes I could stop them to write and even
go back to clarify anything.

When done I would ask you questions about various things like:
You said you have got to get your own domain name which is
SOP and not expensive. I think you meant a domain for each
product so a keyword would be in the name. Was that it?
How about subdomains like:
JohnDoe.com/HealthyThings/WeightLoss

You were also using article spinners. You mentioned one where you got the synonyms, copied it to a notepad type text editor
and submitted it to some other program to rewrite the article.
Since I have several free spinners, blenders, and rewrighters
do I really need the one you recommended and what do you call
that program that accepted the submission so I can search for
a free alternative?

Another question would be what is a Facebook Like?
I know that they are for sale at Warier Forum but I can not
get a good explanation of what they are. I am reluctant to get a Facebook account because, in one report, you can get some
excellent success if you do everything all at once or at least
within a few days. What do you think?
Now is the time to start.
I have tons more.

Thanks,

Robert

Lots of great questions Robert and all of them are pretty much answered in either our bootcamp or private team training site. That is why we post the info – so you can go back and rewatch the videos, takes notes, etc.

For common questions like “what is a facebook like” – we have this wonderful thing called GOOGLE SEARCH or even YOUTUBE search that goes a great job of helping you find answers like that. Here is what I found in about 10 seconds:

Let’s say we are confident in our content creation and our on-page SEO, etc. But we don’t have the time (or just don’t want to spend the time) on the effort for off-page (back linking, etc.). What about a service for that aspect of SEO?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Chris – there are a LOT of companies offering SEO services so that is certainly a viable model. In fact, many years ago we offered SEO services to professionals like real estate agents. My adult son still runs an SEO business. Today you can hire part-time or full-time SEO work depending on how much content you need to promote. For most people, outsourcing on a per-post basis makes the most sense and we recommend checking out http:/fiverr.com to make that happen.

Hi Rob,
What an offer! At the moment I have no leads, have been going through MLSP and would love some help in where to start with article marketing. I just do not know what to write to get any interest what-so ever. What and how to get people interested. Like Abdul says he would rather learn than have it done for him but I am getting to the stage of wanting to pay to have it done for me because I am just not finding the words. Please help.

Nichole – venture over to our free Attraction Marketing bootcamp and into our private team training site. There you can literally “watch over my shoulder” as we set about the business of using MLSP to help us generate over 11,000 leads… pocket tens of thousands in commissions and sponsor over 300 people into our network marketing businesses in the past 20 months. Crazy…

Hi Rob,

First I want to echo everyone else’s sentiments of YOU ROCK! I need cash flow so whatever will bring that most expeditiously is what I need to focus. I completely identify with your reference to unconscious incompetance and feel like I’m a hamster spinning the wheel in a cage. I would love to invest in every product you have, but can’t at the moment due to the cash flow. The proverbial light bulb just went on for me a few days ago regarding facebook advertising after Michelle P.’s MLSP webinar, but would love some one on one time where we are literally on the phone and you say do this and I do it and the process continues until I am confident and competent enough to do it on my own. I would also like to begin blogging, but content generation and ideas for that are my biggest issue. I am a level 0 in MLSP so I would love any training you can give me on that even though I’m not on your team. Thanks so much! Leigh Ann Levy

Hi Leigh Ann – thanks for stopping by. Check some of my responses to other people and you’ll find links to our private team training site. If you intend to serious ramp things up for cash flow – there are really only two choices online. 1) GET COMFORTABLE producing content and getting it to to rank online or 2) PAY FOR TRAFFIC like what Michelle and Bill do using Facebook ads. First we have to have a offer (and you have LOTS of offers with MLSP), then it is all about getting traffic to the offer, collecting optins and letting the system to do the work. Our job, really, once the funnels are in place is simply to drive traffic into the system at a profit.

I noticed that MLSP has a default autoresponder that you can use for free. Is this worth using?

Reply

Rob Fore May 26, 2012 at 9:09 am

Leith – the MLSP default autoresponder is built into the system automatically. There is nothing for you to do. If you do not tie in your own aweber or getresponse account, then their system is used by default. The challenge with this is you are now NOT in control of your own list and your NOT able to send additional broadcasts or anything like that. So while your optins will get a series of 26 follow emails to help you generate sales – you are literally leaving a fortune on the table by not owning and controlling your own list. One of things we teach is DO NOT LET BEING CHEAP KEEP YOU BROKE. “Free” often costs you a LOT more than you think.

Hey Rob would love for your personal coaching to get onto the next level. Right now i’m generating 8-18 leads per day and getting some descent traffic to my Blog up to 20,000 visitors per month. But just want to be making more money now and turn it up a notch. Basically get the cash flow growing into the 5 figure per month range.

Rob Fore July 5, 2012 at 6:37 pm

Hey Patrick – great work! I found once we started averaging 20+ leads per day the magic started to happen so I’m confident you are just a few “tweaks” away from putting yourself on the fast track.

Hi, Rob,
I just stumbled upon your site. I have been struggling for some time now to “make it happen” online. Took many courses and joined an MLM company (still there). My problem is prioritizing my daily activities. I know what i have to do (in general), but I feel so overwhelmed. I asked my upline for help twice. The first time she sent me to a product of hers (great tool, but too much info – got lost again). The second time she gave me a huge to-do list, but I did not have the technical skills to do it.
On top of it, I do not have my focus. I have many tools, but I don’t use those.
I want to start making some income through affiliate marketing. I have a lot of limiting beliefs, because I was raised in ex-communist country. Have to fix that too.
What I need is a clear direction on a daily basis. For the very beginning I have to focus, because all of my engines work in different directions. I have no idea what to focus on. I need to know which little pieces of the puzzle to work on daily. If I am not focused and don’t know exactly what to do , I will not do it. My mind chatter becomes unbearable and I procrastinate. We can discuss it further if you think that you can help me. Thank you in advance.

Rob, I signed up at EN under your team and paid $25.00. I have read the bootcamp training and I don’t how to start it. I am new to this business and I would like to seriously learn about it. I missed having the e-wallet which is very much needed. How can I get it? I am about to secure the MLSP. Please guide me, I really want financial freedom as you have said. I want to give the best to my mother especially at she is 86 year now.

Eleanor – you can log into the EN back office sign up for the e-wallet from there. You can also work through the eight steps to getting started and simply follow the instructions.

I am SOC distributor, as well. I am interested in learning how to leverage this business with MLSP. I want to ensure I am not breaking any rules. Your advice and guidance is greatly appreciated on how much I can and cannot do.

Reply

Rob Fore September 24, 2012 at 2:29 pm

Heather – the key is to marketing MLSP on the front end just like you would any other product or service. Then, once people become a lead or actually join MLSP – you promote SOC on the back end via email and private links. Just keep SOC off the internet and promote on the back end. Done deal.

Rob, I was wondering if you have a training portal for EN? I joined HHU, but from an initial look it appears to be geared towards MLSP. Just curious.. because I like to stay close to mentors and leaders who are absolutely the best in the industry. Perhaps some success will “rub off on me” as I continue to follow the best :)

Rob Fore November 12, 2012 at 10:24 am

Barry we are JUST NOW getting ready to launch our private EN team training site. See http://www.mlsp.com/media/video/MmIwOWNlNzA1/ but the principle we teach in the HHU are valid because it does not matter WHAT we sell, the “how to” is exactly the same.

Hi Rob,

I am just starting out in network marketing with Seacret and I want to build my business both selling product and recuiting using the internet. I am, like you said, not knowing what I don’t know. I would ultimately like to have a system that I can pass down to each new person to help them be successful. Can you help me with this and how much will it cost. Thanks

Yes, I started back in August 2010 and simply started posting content on the site they give you and then SYNDICATED that content on free forums, facebook, twitter and things like that. Within 90 days we had generated over 800 leads, sponsored a dozen people in my MLM deal and had made an extra $4,000 in commissions. See http://provenprofitsystems.com to get started.

Right – you need to dig deeper. “What is affiliate marketing” is a HUGE clue they are simply looking for a way to make money online. It also tells me they HAVE NO CLUE and have not yet gotten started down that road so the copy must guide them from the beginning… like first grade stuff. Versus “best affiliate products” tells me they are ENGAGED in affiliate marketing somehow in some way and are looking to ADD products or services to what they offer or they are looking for those “best chance” products that sell well. This the would be a person at the third grade level because they already know what affiliate marketing is – now they want to know how to put the odd of making more money in their favor.

Mike – wow, good for you for “planning your work and working your plan.”

My thought is to set up whatever type of “autoblogging” system you are comfortable using. You pretty much can’t overdo it. So set them up to be 100% completely automated. This will create SOME long-tail traffic over time as more and more of the content gets indexed and picked up by the search engines.

But if you really want to take it to the next level YOU have to start “posting on purpose” for leads, sales and sign ups. Meaning you need to determine exactly what you are selling… do keyword research to find what people are searching for who are most likely to buy whatever it is you are selling, write the content, publish it – then use automated tools to get backlinks and social medial engagement. This is what causes the posts, pages and videos to rank. Once they rank high on the SERPS – you cannot stop the traffic, leads and cash flow if you tried.

So think “automated blogging” is passive and will product a result over time. Posting On Purpose is how to ramp up profits (active) on purpose.
