It took me 7 years to build up a team of over 11,000 active distributors worldwide in one network marketing company and a team of over 8,600 in yet another.
Which is good. It put us on the top 20 income earner boards for both companies. But the reality is the BIG MONEY still wasn’t really there due to attrition (people quitting) and the lack of people duplicating.
So today we, while we do still build our MLM programs… we focus on GETTING PAID up front and on “building a profitable business – not just a downline”.
Which is the difference that makes all the difference.

Most MLM companies are a slow build. It takes time… often years of continuous prospecting, recruiting and training your team to do the same to reach momentum with MLM where the TEAM produces a bigger result each month than you lose through attrition.
For most people, the fastest… easiest way to make a full-time income to pick a NICHE MARKET… find a nice set of products or services to serve that market… and build out marketing plan using blogging, social media, or even paid ads and just stick with it. Most people don’t find success because they don’t pick and stick long enough to gain any traction. Blogging, for example, combined with SEO… might take dozens, even hundreds of posts RANKING to produce enough leads on a regular basis. Paid ads… you might have to test dozens, even hundreds of ads and offers to find the right combo you can leverage for months, even years.
Rob, been watching you for a couple years when I was in MLSP.. couldn’t make it work. Now in SendOutCards and making some money, but not enough to live on yet. My wife was raised in an orphanage in Romania until she was 18 then became a Christian. I was in full time church planting for 25 years. We married 6 years ago in Dubai where we met. Our goal is to get my wife’s story in front of as many orphans as we can. I’m a safety trainer in the oil field in ND right now.
We want to make $6,000 a month passive income to start with. I’ve tried internet marketing, affiliate marketing, MLM. We really like SOC but it’s a slow build. They just rolled out a very cool marketing suite.
