Lisa and I recently went to Walmart to see if we could find a “bazillion” pack of AA batteries. I was leading the charge and Lisa was following, assuming I knew where I was going.
I purposely made a couple out of the way turns and noticed she was still dutifully following. So I made it a point to WALK IN CIRCLES.
Lisa followed me round the first circle – a trip around the candle and gift area. On the second pass… she noticed what I was doing and stopped dead in her tracks.
Moral of the story? People don’t like to follow people who don’t know where they are going.
- Do YOU know where you are going?
- Are YOU leading by example?
- Have YOU written out your dreams and goals – YOUR “Declaration of Independence” and shared with you team?
