Back in August of 2008 I was invited to speak at one of Diane Kennedy’s Million Dollar Mastermind events in Phoenix, Arizona. My topic was:
How to Use Super-Affiliate Secrets to Grow Your Business
In preparing for the event, the CashByChoice System was born. A step-by-step, scalable affiliate marketing model designed to help even the newest of internet beginners get online and start making some serious cash by posting free classified ads.
The system won’t make most people rich, by itself, but you can easily start pulling in a few hundred dollars per month fast. And it’s a FREE system. Meaning you can create unlimited ads (each offering the potential to get paid) absolutely free. No hosting costs, no domains. Nothing.
And NOW even the system is free. Just go pick it up!
Why Give It Away Free?
At the time I was using a variety of techniques to send up to 1 million hits to a new affiliate web site within a 30 days and the commissions were flowing like the Nile river. Fast and furious. We’re taking MASSIVE commission checks and, well, things were going well.
But as it often happens, things change. And the particular vendor I was promoting could not handle all the new orders we were sending them and, in effect, they fired us. Poof. Gone. See ya. Just like that! One minute you’re raking it in like there is no tomorrow and the next you can earn a nickle if you try.
Now the original $17 CashByChoice system outlines a tiny bit of the techniques I was using (and still use) and the “Coaching Club” reveals the rest.
So I was using the original low cost system to create LEADS for those who might want to join my Coaching Club at $27 per month. In other words, I was using this original system as a “Loss Leader” or as a “Funded Proposal”.
Here is the Magic of a Funded Proposal System
You have a product or service or business opportunity you want to promote. And you have all the usual routines at your disposal – organic search (takes time and costs money to get links, pay for articles, etc), pay-per-click advertising (costs major bucks), you can buy leads and send them out with an autoresponder (double dipping your pocketbook).
Bottomline – it usually COSTS money to promote.
Building a funded proposal system takes a different approach. You offer a low end (or free) product, report or service. This makes it easier and less expensive to promote. You provide GREAT material and offer your real products or services on the back end.
For example, if you are looking to promote a business opportunity – DON’T lead with the opportunity that costs hundreds of dollars to get involved. Offer a free report explaining HOW to best build a business opportunity. Offer a set of low cost tools like splash pages, autoresponders and advertising systems that teach people how to make more money with the opportunity they are currently involved in.
Get them involved. Communicate. Build rapport.
THEN ask them to join you. Because you’ve earned the right. You’ve stepped up into a leadership role versus just another affiliate marketer.
