Maddi Murtaza recently posted a new $25 video product on the Warrior Forum with the title of:
Absolutely Sustainable Income Stream in the next 10 Minutes or Less
Here is the main promise offered in the sales copy:
Who Else Wants My Super Secret Sauce That Creates Unlimited Ca$h Generating Streams of Income, Without a Domain, Hosting or A Product, AND Build a Massive List of Prospects in 10 minutes or less GUARANTEED!
Sounds great, doesn’t it? Virtually INSTANT cash flow streams.
So I picked up a copy and spent the next 20 minutes going through it. At the end I was wholly left wanting. Why? Because the product did not… in any way… provide the actual SOLUTION insinuated in the sales copy.
My impression when making the purchase was that Maddi would outline a complete process for selecting a Clickbank product, use some secret function of Aweber to create a campaign… and within 10 minutes you would have an almost instant new stream of cash flow.
Silly me.
A closer read of the copy reveals you do get the information you paid for – information about how to pick a product and set up an aweber campaign – but you DON’T GET what you think you getting which is a complete A-Z cash flow system.
So let’s talk about this. What do you think?
You’re in business. You have a product to sell. You CAN write wonderful copy that insinuates more than you are really saying.
This will obviously create more sales. But it can also create VERY HEATED discussions about morals and ethics and feelings of being cheated (which it did in this case because while most of the “reviews” were positive, one guy REVEALED the dirty secret and created a firestorm!).
What say you? Where do we draw the line as marketers?

I actually purchased that product but I haven’t had a chance to go through the materials yet. I wish I’d read your review first. Do you think I should request a refund?
Depends, Joe. My thought on refunds is if I learn at least ONE new thing that can help me move forward, then I don’t refund. If not, I do. In this case I didn’t ask for a refund because I didn’t think (or wasn’t aware of) the aweber technique he shares. So I learned something new. That being said, it wasn’t the “complete package” I thought I was picking up.
